Hiii <3 It’s Mahala. Pronounced Muh-hay-luh

I’m a small town girl raised by the outdoors of northern Utah. I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is adventuring out in the snow with my disposable camera in hand. 

I have a giant heart and some deep feelings and, although I have a lot to say, I often find myself at a loss for words. I’ve always found it easiest for me to express myself through art, no matter the medium. My passion for photography grew simultaneously with my love for the outdoors. With time, I realized my happiest moments were those spent outdoors. Eventually, I realized through the lens of my camera, I was able to capture a moment or a feeling with the click of a button and share it with the world, and this started to feel like magic. 

Over the years that magic turned into happiness and that happiness turned me into the person I've always wanted to become.
